Online Discussion: Atheism and Morality

Respected Sir,
Thank you for sharing this article,

My views regarding the present article:-

Sumit Paul talks about Atheist and Moral code In the article “Atheist Also Have a Definite Moral code". I think it's all about believing or not believing in God. And sometimes in religion also. In morality there are so many rules which people use to guide there behavior and thinking when any people individually dealing with that and also capable of distinguishing between what is right and wrong, good and bad etc.. So, morality is also based upon basis of truth. Religion without morality is all about superstition so, morality without religion is impossible.

Atheism isn't religion but we can say that it's our personal relationship with reality. So, Atheism is unstoppable. Many Atheist live by the same moral code as do religious people and they believe they come to a moral code without the influence of God.

Atheism believed in faith - that is, not believing on God requires just as much faith, if not more, than belief. Because faith is allow us to believing in something.

There are so many examples are given here in this article like Buddha, Mahavira, Charvaka, etc who are great person in the history and they are not believing in God. like Gautama Buddha, was totally non-believer of God. But his followers made him God and worship him. But religious people made him God. So, we can conclude that Atheist people also have faith and have a definite moral code.
