Online Discussion: Quotes of Virginia Woolf:

Respected Sir,

A woman must have money and a room of her own if she is to write fiction. She is free to write or think in her own way. She has her own personal room and she can also use enough money. In short she is free to think and live her life.

‘‘They can because they think they can.’’

Ans.Virginia Woolf was very determining about herself. She very well know that what she could and what not. She has an objection with stereotypical society. They think that women cannot think, cannot write and cannot paint. But Woolf can do it because she was thinking that she can do it. Her characters are strong enough, determine, intelligent, breaking down rules which is created by society. Through this we can say that her characters represent herself. She made her characters like in this way because she lived her life like in that way.

"Never pretend that the things you haven't got are not worth having."

Ans. We must always get ready to accept the actuality of ours. When we fail to get our things we have expected, we pretend that they are worthless for us us so we couldn't get them.
